Oak Furniture Land is lining up new stores in Scotland and a first in Northern Ireland as it continues to rollout across the UK.

JB Global — the company behind the case goods retail brand and its sister upholstery fascia SofaStore — is planning to open in Belfast as it makes its Northern Ireland debut.

More Scottish stores are also in the pipeline, with stores in Stirling and Paisley to add to its existing Scottish network of shops in Aberdeen, Ayr, Dundee, Edinburgh, Uddingston and Inverness.

In the past few weeks, the retailer has opened stores in locations including Taunton, Worcester and — most recently — New Malden, to take the running total to 65 nationwide.

JB Global grew pre-tax profits to £11m as sales increased 31.6 per cent to £191.5m in the year to end September 2014.
