Online interior design retailer Houseology — formerly known as Occa Home — is targeting a seven-figure fund raise through Crowdfunding platform Seedrs.com.

The move follows earlier conventional investor funding rounds that have seen the Glasgow based retailer attract a number of business heavyweights to the firm.

Ex-Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy, former Best Buy CIO Bob Willet and Iomart founder Bill Dobbie all sit on the premium furniture and design store’s board.

Through its crowdfunding initiative, Houseology hopes to raise £1m, with investors able to commit anything upwards of £10 in return for an equity share and discounts on purchases.
