Organisers of the iSaloni exhibition in Milan, comprising the Salone del Mobile furniture show and other events including EuroCucina, have announced that exhibition space has sold out.

2,310 companies will show from 2.2 million sqft of exhibition space at the Rho Fairgrounds in Milan from 12–17 April.

Clarion Events, which organises the furniture manufacturers and components show ZOW, say the exhibition will be held over three days, rather than four, moving forward.

The next edition of the event will be held in 2017, with a provisional Tuesday to Thursday timeline of 7–9 February proposed.

Organisers of the Ambiente homewares fair in Frankfurt say this year’s edition — which ended last week on 16th February — attracted more visitors than last year.

Messe Frankfurt said preliminary figures showed a 1.8 per cent rise in visitors to 137,000 from 143 countries including a significant number of UK buyers. Exhibitor numbers were down by 427 to 4,387.
