MODERN design and furniture retailer Aram Store has opened a dedicated studio for the premium Italian designer bed brand Flou.

The retailer is the exclusive London stockist of the luxury bedroom brand and has this month introduced a 2,000sqft space at its Drury Lane store, representing around 10 percent of its entire shop.

Flou was founded in 1978 and pioneered the modern textile bed with a range called Nathalie. That original signature collection is among seven Flou ranges being floored at the Aram Store, which besides beds also takes in bedroom storage and a sofabed.

Zeev Aram opened his first furniture showroom on London’s Kings Road in the 1960s, with Aram Store — the retail trading name of the Aram Designs Ltd company — known for being at the forefront of modern home furnishings design. It introduced designers such as Le Corbusier and Achille Castiglioni to UK buyers and holds the world licence for Eileen Gray designs.
