Sales jumped by a quarter at Natuzzi in early 2015 driven by a big increase in the Americas and in private-label sales across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions.


Revenue reached €109.5m in the first three months of 2015, up 24.6 per cent against weak comps for Q1 2014 (-11.2pc). Sales in the Americas were up 35 per cent to €45m, with the biggest increase (+52pc) coming from its main Natuzzi, Editions and Re-Vive brands.


Outside the Americas, its private label business — comprising sales of unbranded sofas to major national and international retailers — provided the bulk of its growth.


Private-label sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa rose 60 per cent to €14.2m, while Natuzzi brand sales reached €36.6m, up 3.5 per cent on Q1 2014.
