Houseology — the premium ecommerce design store that rebranded from Occa-Home in April — has unveiled its new-look website.

The Glasgow based retailer’s founder Kate Mooney said the move represented what the business had become in the five years since Occa-Design — which specialises in architectural interiors for hotels — was expanded to take in a consumer ecommerce offer through Occa-Home.

Its transition to Houseology will see an even bigger focus on newness, with the company saying in a statement that it will add “over 500 new products weekly” and a strong editorial element with “insightful articles and how-to guides to run alongside practical and informative videos, lifestyle looks and design inspiration.”

Combined, the business says these elements comprise the Houseology Masterclass, with fresh content to be added weekly courtesy of its professional design team and special guest industry experts.

High profile backers include the former Tesco CEO Terry Leahy, with the brand’s Series B investment round successfully closing in October 2014, raising a further £1.3m.
