BoConcept fasciaUnderlying profits doubled as revenue continued to trend up for one of premium furniture design brand BoConcept’s largest franchisees in 2013–14.


Concept Living Holdings — owned and chaired by former Kingdom of Leather and Courts executive Mireille Baumgart — built on 20 per cent growth in 2013–14 to lift sales by a further 8.5 per cent in the year to end October.


Revenue reached a record £9.3m for the group, which consolidates the results of Concept Living — which trades a number of South East BoConcept stores, and another contemporary furniture retail brand called Loft Living.


Gross margin lifted 220 basis points to 43.3 per cent with EBITDA doubling to £595k and pre-tax profits rising four-fold to £340k.


The privately owned group generated a net £944k cash from operations and boosted year-end net funds to £508k at the 31st October balance sheet date.
