Kitchens, bedroom and bathroom cabinet maker Kelvin KBB built EBITDA on a seventh straight rise in sales in the year to end December 2016.


Earnings before interest and non-cash depreciation charges advanced three-fold to £594,290 as sales advanced 6.0 percent to £16.5 million last year.

Sales have now risen every year since 2009 for the privately-owned Cumbernauld cabinet furniture business, which supplies the house developer market north and south of the border.

After non-cash writedowns and interest payments, some of which is on loans from its owner, the company narrowed its statutory pretax deficit by 75 percent to £108,146.
