CARPET maker Brockway has bought rival manufacturer Grosvenor Wilton for an as-yet-undisclosed sum via an administration process.

The deal secures the future of the high-end Grosvenor Wilton business, which has been making premium carpets for public and private buildings since the 1790s.

Paul Foley continues as commercial director at Grosvenor Wilton. The sale was handled by administrator Mark Bowen of MB Insolvency.
