hypnosBedSales at Hypnos grew by a fifth for a second successive year in 2014 as the bed manufacturer capitalised on growing demand in the retail sector.

The Princes Risborough producer — named Bed Manufacturer of the Year at the 2014 NBF Awards — grew its top line by 19 per cent to £36.8m in the year to end June.

That followed 20.2 per cent growth in 2012–13 and means the group’s top line — across its Retail and Contract divisions — has risen by 57 per cent in three years.

The figures were released by the company ahead of it filing its accounts at Companies House. Director James Keen said: “We could not have wished for a stronger performance from the business.”

Hypnos said the growth was the result of its continued development of its Retail business, both at home and overseas.
