Investment firm Sun European Partners has switched its board representation at beds retailer Dreams.


The private equity firm — which acquired Dreams back in March 2013 — has installed Paul Daccus to the board of the retailer’s holding companies, replacing Tim Stubbs, another Sun Partner.


It is common practice for private equity firms to have partners on the boards of their investee companies.


Mr Daccus is also a non-executive director of ScS, the upholstery and flooring retailer, having joined its board ahead of its recent IPO. He also formerly sat on the board at Sharps Bedrooms, another Sun European investee business.
