In-the-home window dressings specialist Hillarys is to roll out its carpets and flooring offer nationwide after a successful trial.


The circa £150m turnover firm — best known for its made-to-measure curtains and blinds — has been testing the carpets offer on a limited scale in selected regions, but now wants to offer it across the country.


It has hired brand agency Refinery to lead the marketing push, which will see the East Midlands based furnishings firm launch a high profile campaign promoting its carpets offer and service.


Hillarys believes its business model, which sees it sell via booked appointments in consumers’ homes, suits the carpet market, with the firm to offer a complete design, sale and fitting service.


Its floorcoverings offer takes in more than 100 designs of plain and patterned carpets as well as stair carpets and vinyl flooring.
