BEDDING maker Trendsetter Home Furnishings Limited has launched a new website and says takeup for two new brands launched this year has been strong.

The Manchester based company — which has operations in China and Estonia — said in a press release announcing its financial results that retail partners and consumers had given it a “huge response” since it introduced The Junior Fine Bedding Company and its Kings & Queens collection.

Those launches, both within the past six months, add to existing brands including The Fine Bedding Company, Nimbus Emporium and its dedicated hospitality brand The Fine Bedding Company Hospitality Division.

Total sales were up nearly 4 percent to £23.3 million in the year to January 2016, with Trendsetter saying its hospitality division had enjoyed rolling revenue growth of 97 percent since February 2015.

Without disclosing a figure, Trendsetter said 2015–16 accounts will show a 23 percent increase in profitability. Last year the company made £1.4 million before tax on sales of £22.5 million.

The company said its new website — live now at trendsetterhomefurnishings.com — highlights its fourth-generation family heritage over more than 100 years, with md Claire Watkin saying the web launch was its way of “pulling the whole story together.”
