BEDDING producer Trendsetter International has renamed its Eastern European arm to Trendsetter Europe as it expands into new markets.

Formerly called Baltic Fibres Oü, the Estonian factory at Lääne-Virumaa was acquired by the North West England based duvet, pillows and mattress topper manufacturer back in 2000.

"Our Trafford-based UK headquarters and Shanghai sourcing operations both come under the Trendsetter name and putting the Estonia facility under our well-established identity will help us to present a more unified business," said Trendsetter md Claire Watkin.

The group supplies bedding products for many of the UK’s biggest high street names as well as operating its own consumer-facing retail brands, including The Fine Bedding Company, Kings & Queens and Nimbus Emporium. The comnpany now has plans to build its business overseas.

In a statement announcing the factory rebrand, the company said the move marks the step change in advances that have been made within the facility, which has recently achieved Eco Factory status.

Ms Watkin added: "Trendsetter Europe has played a major part in Trendsetter’s notoriety as the innovator in the category, introducing unique products to consumer markets, and bolstering customer confidence in our ranges.

“Our united mission is to continue to provide unrivalled products that help consumers achieve a better night’s sleep, through sustainable manufacturing, responsible sourcing, industry leading quality, innovation and exceptional service.”
