The UK home furnishings retail arm of fashion giant Zara posted strong growth in 2014–15.

Sales for the ten-store operation were up nearly 24 per cent to £16.1m in the year to end January, with store numbers remaining static after it opened a store in Kensington but closed another, in Liverpool.

Its furnishings offer comprises bedding, lighting, accents such as rugs, as well as a comprehensive kitchen and tableware range.

UK profits for Zara Home nearly doubled to £2.6m.
