Lancashire textiles supplier JHC has acquired West Yorkshire furnishings fabrics supplier Sinclaire in a pre-pack administration deal.

The acquisition — the terms of which haven’t yet been disclosed — followed the appointment of Jonny Marston and Gareth Harris of KPMG as administrators on 13th January.

Sinclaire is a supplier of premium furnishings fabrics which are sold primarily to contract customers in the leisure and hospitality sectors. It is based in Dewsbury and all its staff have transferred to JHC as part of the deal.

JHC, or JH Cunliffe & Co, operates out of Rochdale, and is a contract provider of cut, make and trim sewing services to the textiles industry. It is based in the 70,000sqft four-storey Duke Street Mill and has been trading since the late 1800s.
