SOFT furnishings chain Linens Direct has filed a notice of intent to appoint administrators, according to trade journal Retail Week.

The Essex-headquartered retailer—privately owned by Mark Zeff, who left the trading board last week—trades from 34 stores, and sells a mix of furnishings spanning bedding to other household textiles.
