LIQUIDATORS will this week be appointed at two-store Northern Ireland furniture retailer Smiths Furniture, which has already ceased trading and closed its two stores.

Omagh and Belfast based Smiths Furniture—the trading name of Smith Cash and Carry Limited—is slated to be placed into liquidation through PKF-FPM Accountants following a creditors' meeting this Thursday (Jul. 27).

Smiths traded from stores at The Meadows Centre at Belfast's Boucher Place along with another on Bankmore Road in Omagh.

Outstanding orders are not expected to be fulfilled with PKF-FPM urging deposit-paying customers to try and recover funds from card providers.
