Upholstery and furniture design, distribution and retail business Content by Conran has been rebranded to create a tighter association with its eponymous founder.


The London based company is now known as Content by Terence Conran as part of a name change that adds the christian name of its designer founder.


Sir Terence — together with the Conran Shop — created the Content business back in 2003 as a relaxed British contemporary furniture brand.


It sells through upmarket independent retailers at home and abroad as well as having developed its own online sales channel direct from its website at contentbyterenceconran.com.


Sales between 2012–2014 were consistently around the £1.9m figure. Besides the Conran Holdings group and Sir Terence, shareholders include James Dyson, who holds more than a third of the company shares.*
