2D GuildMark 1

Industry charity The Furniture Makers' Company (TFMC) has announced the inaugural holders of the Design Guild Mark's new 2D category.

 

They are products designed for Alusid, Axminster Carpets and Bute Fabrics (for details, see captions) and are rewarded for excellence and raising the profile of British design and innovation.

The Design Guild Mark is judged by a panel of leading industry professionals, and was chaired by Rodney McMahon.


The judging panel comprised: Linzi Coppick, Forme UK; Fiona Knight, Studio Hopwood; Professor Clare Johnston, Royal College of Art; Natasha Marshall, Natasha Marshall; Corinne Pringle, tp bennett; and Peter Thwaites, Rapture & Wright.
