Attendance at CIFF Guangzhou — one of the most important trade fairs for the global furniture industry — increased this year, according to data released by show organisers.


The March show series attracted 195,082 visitors this spring, up 1.6 percent on the previous year, a rise of over 3,000 people.

CIFF Guangzhou is held in two separate parts over a total of eight days with the first section, from March 18–21, majoring in home furniture, home décor and home textiles.

The second portion (Mar. 28–31) was concentrated on the contract sector as well as machinery and raw materials. There 4,100 exhibitors in all, of which 90 percent hailed from China.

The 2017 event had seen a 14 percent climb in visitor numbers.
